Crystal Ocean Wild Life Shelter was started by Brenda Marmion, a Mornington peninsula local, who is still the heart and life of the shelter.
Brenda has devoted a good part of her life and her whole home and heart to saving wild life, and really enjoys sharing that feeling and experience with all of her volunteers.
Although a registered wildlife shelter we get no official funding and depend on donations.
Because of this we are truly grateful for all of our wonderful volunteers who give there time and effort to help collect and save all the animals that come into our care.
Despite our lack of funding we push through every day, every week and every moment so that we can make a difference. We take pride in what we do and push through the hard times even if it only helps 1 life, because that life will create more life and make every moment worth it.
